If you've dipped out of Arc Raiders for a week or two, you'll notice the vibe's changed. People are still queueing in huge numbers, but the chat's been full of questions, bug clips, and "is this safe?" posts. A lot of that kicked off with the Discord SDK scare, and while folks were doomposting, most players were just trying to get back to expeditions, trade, and keep their stash moving with stuff like ARC Raiders Items in mind for their next run.

This week's panic had a pretty simple root: the Discord SDK had a flaw, and Arc Raiders happened to be one of the games using it. If your Discord account wasn't linked, it didn't touch you. If it was linked, you were right to pay attention, because nobody likes the idea of data leaking anywhere. Embark moved fast and got the message out: no private DMs were being shipped off to random servers, and devs weren't reading anyone's messages. The issue wasn't Arc Raiders code doing something sneaky—it was the SDK itself. The patch locks it down, but it's still worth double-checking what you've linked and what permissions you've handed out.

Next up: Scrappy. People tested it the way players always do—raise the bonus, run expeditions, compare results, repeat. And yep, it's not doing what it says on the tin. The percentage goes up, but max resource allocation doesn't. So you're clicking around a menu that feels like it's working, while the numbers don't really move where it counts. Embark has admitted it's bugged and said a rework is coming in future seasons, which is good, because right now it's basically dead weight. While they're in there, a lot of us want the UI cleaned up too; the current Scrappy screen is clunky, and the older, simpler layout was easier to read mid-session.

There was a lot of talk that Marathon's release would slice the player base in half. That's not what happened. Arc Raiders just posted a 24-hour peak around 192,000 concurrent players, which is wild for a game dealing with live issues. Marathon's Steam peak sat closer to 88,000, and sure, those are different games with different audiences, but the takeaway is obvious when you're in matchmaking: Arc Raiders still has a crowd, and it's not acting like a community packing its bags.

The annoying stuff hasn't disappeared, though. People are still clipping through geometry, with Stella Montis getting called out a lot, and nothing kills a run faster than watching your teammate vanish into the floor. Then there are the server hiccups: crashes, weird rollbacks, and that gut-punch moment when loot just isn't there after extraction. Support has been doing the unglamorous work—tickets, inventory restores, and damage control—while the community team keeps spotlighting clips and builds to keep things from feeling bleak. If you're playing right now, keep filing reports, keep your evidence, and keep an eye on updates, especially if you're stocking up for bigger runs where ARC Raiders coins can make planning your loadout a little less of a scramble.Welcome to U4GM—Arc Raiders is still going strong, even with the Discord SDK hotfix, Scrappy bonus tweaks on the way, and the usual map glitches. Need gear without the hassle?
